This is the second version of the Powerdirector newspaper template. You may use this Intro/Ending in your projects completely free of charge.
This Project differs from the first version. First of all, this is NOT an Express Project and won’t show up under the other projects when copied to the Express folder.
In this Project, we will not be using the text features of Powerdirector, because of the wobble effect of text as well as the handling of animations.
You will find two template files in the project folder. If you own a copy of Photoshop, then just open up the PSD template file, put in your image and update the text and replace my newspaper images with yours( you know the drill by now 🙂
For those who are not in the position to edit PSD files, I’ve included a PNG template without the text and image, which you can update with your favorite image editor. After you updated the image, just drag it over mine in the timeline and click “replace”.
I would really much appreciate it if everyone will get more involved by commenting on the posts in the the Blog. Maybe you have some bright idea which I can implement. After all, the projects are free for all and a little comment on the Blog should be a fair price?

Hi, love your templates. I know how to work with PSD & PNG files, no problem. But I am new to Power Director and this is where I get lost. What are the steps after the changes are made. Where do you put the file,what file etc. And thanks for your work and the ads that pop up. Seriously being new at this I get ideas from them to make my life easier. Jim
Hi Jim.
After you made your changes to the newspaper template, save it. Then double-click the project file to open it in Powerdirector.
Now click on “Import media files” and import your image.
Drag you image now with the mouse to the timeline and release the mouse button as soon as you have it directly on top of my image.
A box will popup. Click on “Replace” and you’re done.
