Custom Powerdirector 2D and 3D Transitions (Part #3)

In PART #2 we have learned how to add two planes to our workspace which we are going to animate. In this tutorial we will see how to actually create our custom 3d transition and add it to Powerdirector. So this is the final tutorial for the creation of our 3d transition. Guys I’m by no means an expert in Blender or Powerdirector, as I’m a person who learns on the go. Please do not expect miracles 🙂

On request of members, I decided to create a video tutorial for the final part and I also personally believe that this will make it a lot easier to follow the steps. I am truly sorry and humbly apologise for the fact that you had to wait this long for the final tutorial.

Please follow the steps in the tutorial and you will be successful in creating your own 3d transitions. I would appreciate it if you would be so kind as to show all of us your created 3d transition. I am also willing to upload your 3d transition and send out a notification to members if you would like to share your creation with other members.

When I have time, I would maybe create a software to assist us in creating the transitions, but it will not be possible to create a full blown software, as Powerdirector does not allow us to automatically update an important file (as you will see in the video) to make our 3d transition work.

So guys, here we go. Below is the tutorial and if you have any question, please post it in the comments section for all members to see as I do not have a lot of time to answer each question individually.

I’ve added the tutorial project files for your convenience.
